The popularity of the book/movie incorporating a classic concept of cyberpunk, yes.
We’ve been dreaming of a Metaverse just about since we’ve had internet. Only, nobody’s made one that’s worth a damn in the real world yet.
I may or may not be any number of unfathomable beings.

are you suggesting ¾ of the population is poor?
Completely unrelated to the weight loss issue, yeah absolutely. Depends on your definition of “poor” a bit, for example federal statistics list the official poverty cutoff at around $15k a year in income which is stupendously low, and even with that being so much lower than what’s realistically survivable in most places they still report 11% of people being in that bracket. Less than half of Americans have more than $1000 in savings. Most of America is extremely broke as fuck.
The massive popularity of Ready Player One, which was a mostly bland and bad story besides having a Metaverse in it, might imply otherwise.
I don’t see how we could stop people from just connecting AI to that
In lore, Netwatch handled that. If you mess around with an AI they come shoot you in the head and pour water on its power supply.
ChatGPT also doesn’t give true answers, it gives an approximation of what you want to hear without any regard for truth or accuracy. This is how every LLM functions. It does not know facts. It does not care to tell you facts because it does not know what they are.
Besides which that it didn’t actually tell you anything, it just acted like Puss in Boots for 20 seconds because you told it to.
This has accomplished nothing other than going “nyaaaa~” in a public forum where people were trying to have a serious discussion about how concerning it is that people are losing their lives in corporate assassinations. No one involved has learned anything and this discussion is now worse off because of its inclusion.
I hope the 2.9 watt-hours and 8 ounces of water you just wasted were worth it.
How about “less real than your current 4k TV because projectors look like roasted ass outside a movie theater”?
Seriously. Projectors are cool. Do you own windows in your home? Don’t buy a projector. Watching stuff on it outside of perfect darkness sucks way more than just having a regular TV.
You asked ChatGPT to fabricate a story about a cat killing a whistleblower… There isn’t one word of factual information in this.
Cool story bro, how is that relevant to anything though
We won’t have a competitor until people start posting shit elsewhere and people won’t start posting shit elsewhere until we have a competitor with a solid user base.
It’s a catch-22. I don’t disagree with you here but I also don’t see a good answer. Companies are going to post their news where an audience exists for that news and I have a hard time saying that that is wrong for them to do.
Tell this to every person without an ad blocker installed
Never underestimate the power of a white man saying “that’s some fucked up shit bro” to another white man
They’re working on bringing that beloved export back home for the American people to enjoy
Luckily for us we’ve set things in motion to destroy most of the benefits that allowed us to live such a sheltered existence, so it doesn’t look like most of us are going to have much of a choice about it. This isn’t self sabotage, it’s a training montage.
Prove it then, should be easy if you’re so confident. Go on, I’m waiting.
Even if you were correct, which you aren’t, you have no way of possibly knowing that.
Guy? What guy? That was a pre-existing condition
Protecting a chief executive full time cost roughly $250,000 a year
So it costs less than one major life saving surgery then.
A McDonald’s manager didn’t condemn my aunt and my grandmother to death in the name of profits.
This IS the attention.
Gladiator was a movie because historically we’ve had heaps of gladiators and they were popular public entertainment.
