Is there a reason given anywhere?
I’ve worked on this project a decade. That is a long time and I need to move on in life.

Couldn’t you just do that with Bluetooth like 20 years ago?
The interim solution is to tape the card to the back of your phone
it kills Facebook messenger in the background no matter what you do
Sounds like a feature rather than a bug! Seriously though is it something like memory usage and fb wants way more resource? Is messenger light still a thing you can try instead?
Direct link to the image as the thumbnail is unreadable for me:
Can waydroid do that? I’ve not used it yet but their doc implies you can run it a bit like a VM.
and I thought iPhones were for wankers ☞( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞
It’s already out of support so that seems very unlikely
Laugh at Windows all you want, this is still a pretty cool thing to have hacked together and hopefully will pave the way for some more useable stuff
GrapheneOS is Android
Maybe an issue with your Lemmy client, it looks fine to me
You don’t. P7 came with 3 years of OS updates plus two more years of security updates, now it’s just 5 years of OS updates (plus whatever extra security updates GrapheneOS adds on afterwards).
Huh, pretty rare for a big company to offer something extra for an older device which they’re not directly making money from anymore. Nice!
Well congrats on the big hand, I guess! This is the first time I’ve seen someone asking for phones to be larger rather than smaller; I wonder why they stopped making the Pixel XL devices.
How big are your pockets!? Seriously, 7 inches was the size of the Nexus 7, the first tablet I bought. Not the kind of device you could use with one hand!
The 7a is massive, how big are your hands‽
Sounds great!
Hopefully a small pain which will encourage better behaviour overall in the future. Hopefully.
Could be as simple as blue sky having the money behind it to advertise it more
Yeah I’m not surprised a single developer project would end, I’m just surprised something with such a good rep only had one maintainer! Huge credit to them for all their effort, hopefully this prompts a larger group to pick up the work.
