I pay the $20 per year and use it as a backup for my local and vps wireguard/pihole installs. Works great and you can use custom local dns records for your Lan if you wish. Plus you can use it on android/ios without any extra software installs.
I was having this same issue and ended up switching to schildichat. Change the theme and it’s element. But with notifications.
We got the carbon x 1 at work and I like it a lot. It’s so easy to use.
IRC is fine to get your movie and TV needs met. There are a couple servers doing it well. Speeds are decent enough, a few minutes per 8-9 gig files. Retention sucks, as pretty rapid turn-over is basically required; these are files hosted on dedis/vps’s with finite disk space.
You should be able to find most stuff released with-in the last year without too much effort.
Also, some servers offer request credits in exchange for downloads, so you can ask for more niche or rare content. Happy hunting!
Me too, last Friday
Yes, and it’s lovely
Cheers mates, keep up the good fight. Much appreciated.
Lol yes another gd deer, just got the car back yesterday.

TIL about jellystat. Thank you!
All stations, TV and radio, get huge amounts of money from advertising. So they maximize commercial time to maximize revenue. Hence all stations go to commercial breaks around the same time. It’s a formula. If you look at TV shows from the mid 80’s and early 90’s, you’ll see 2 commercial breaks per half hour. Now you see 3 breaks per half hour and about every 7 minutes during hour-long shows. These same rules apply to radio, however they don’t really have “shows” anymore. Just hour long segments interrupted by ads about every 3 songs.
There’s Radicale
Lol yeah, that’s it. Damn autocorrect
