Neat! Punishing conspiracy and engineered lying is a good thing!

Cloud based solutions in selfhosted are a hilarious suggestion.
I would suggest avoiding anything that is a “community” or “personal use only”. If its not fully open its not worth it.
In my experience the outfits target schools to exploit the children’s relationships and free labor with family. We are talking incredibly low quality junk you cannot find at stores or really even online.
At my school the goal was to sell like $1000 worth a crap to get a limo ride to a local restaurant.
6,7,8 year old etc do not have a value of wealth. “Oh daddy/mommy/grandpa, I really really want the limo ride” etc.
There’s no legitimate reason for such a thing to exist other than pure exploitation. After experiencing that I would demand to opt out for my children.
Too much money in the long end of the stick.
Funniest thing about Tesla was the idea they’d make evs more economical and realible after starting in the luxury space. They did exactly the opposite and now shareholders are paying dearly.
100% you don’t have to train a thing ollama uses open availability models. They many are decent, the best use a lot of ram/vram.
They tend to fill the space. I mean if you drive by a modern data center, so much grid electrical equipment is just right there. Now if hypothetically supermachine uses all that power sure, small data center. Unless they have a nuclear reactor they should (fu felon musk) only rely on grid/solar/renewables.
No, it turns out that lying to the consumer about old tech is profitable.
R.I.P Doulingo.
Great point!
TLDR: the marketing lies about full self driving are problematic given the computers of the last few gens are only marginally more capable then a toaster. Some lawsuits have made Tesla pay up, many more might.
Opinion: do not let your car kill you. Do not use full self driving.
This is the one tech company I would have laughed at if they said American labor is too expensive.
I’ve noticed the same thing, including on stuff that should be spell checked like news articles. Its not even rare. I’ve also noticed my phone (current android) it has been making it nearly impossible to overrule errant spelling even if it is not correctly changing it.
Overall I believe its entirely the lack of proof reading. Please god I proof read this let it contain no errors.
It’ll be funny if one or two cards become incredibly prized.
Closed source is garbage. Long live Linux.
Not hardly a damn thing!
Why is the iPhone the benchmark?
There’s Microsoft windows and there’s Linux. No single person owns Linux so there are so many different options to use (called distros) the big ones Debian, Fedora, Arch, OpenSUSE, Etc package open source software on top of Linux that enable you to use it as easily as possible.
To a 25yo I would say, a computer has many separate devices like USB controllers, sound devices, so many independent systems that need software to work. Such software is copyrighted, it turns out the community does not like that so they made their own that is owned by the community. Sometimes its not perfect but it also can do things you couldn’t before.
