48·22 hours agoWhy? My outlet is lower than my phone in almost every instance, so my voted going down towards the charger makes the most sense.
Besides, my IR Blaster, mic, and 3.5mm jack are at the top 😁

That didn’t matter for me recently. On a site, flights in cart, looked at rental car for <5 minutes and the outbound flights jumped ~$60/ticket in that time “due to demand” when the flight was 80%empty…
Got on my phone, on data (so new browser, new IP) still prices are higher. Hopped on my old phone over VPN to change region, checked out a different leave date, checked a couple, went back to my original date and flights were $40 cheaper (so still $20 more than before) but they gotta know based on Geo IP and time of inquiries it’s probably all the same person, smh.
What a scam!!
So far it’s great! Cheogram works well with 1 on 1 messages, but I struggled at first with making sure it worked well. It wants to initially enforce encryption but the most you can do with non xmpp users is TLS security. Wish I could host a bigger server to have all friends and family sign up in order to get them using protest secure messaging.

19·6 days agoMan, I setup Immich for my whole family, a RAID6 of enterprise drives with about 10TB total available storage, and 1TB/user. I’ve got symmetrical 1Gbs fiber, too. Does anyone use it? No. The last get together I told them if anyone wanted help setting it up, I wouldn’t mind. And no takers really. I said it’s easy enough anymore with a 1TB SSD being <$100 it’d last a very long time they could back up too that, far more than Google allows… Nope…
It’s insane to me that nobody wants to change, but when these companies change on everyone, they just let it happen.
I did when I drove a Saab. I got it right around 2009 or so when the brand was dying off anyway. GM pretty much killed it, but the market finished it. Anyway, was always fond of them bc they’re safe and they weren’t common in the state anyway.
Now, I give a little rev for other manuals/standard trans I notice at a light as an acknowledgement they’re not alone. I usually get a little smile or nod haha. Easy to tell on flat ground and no brake lights on.
I just use Google Messages, but I’m signed out of the app. Actually, no Google acct on my whole phone. I stick to F-Droid for apps of I need em.
The way I see it, mousy sms stiff goes through the carrier servers I’d not Google, and at least Messages is RCS. However, I’m running XMPP and jmp.chat for a phone number to test out switching entirely and setting up friends and family on my server. Trying to go full hermit mode.
What country are you in? I literally just did this (US) in my browser and watched (started) 3 different videos with no account or age checks.
Heck yeah, the unedited or “Not Rated” DVD version had the uncut scene where she defecates on his chest! Quite funny at the time, but I cannot imagine then doing something like that now, nor all the 9/11 jokes. Plus making fun of NK’s Jim Jong Il. I feel like you couldn’t really do that without stirring the pot at least a little bit.

The documentary?
I’ve kept my old TCL phone around as a remote at home bc the app worked so well and was easy to use. I just realized it’s not available in the Play store, nor apk pure for historical availability. I cannot hold down the icon to share. When I browse the file explorer I see the app but it doesn’t give me anything to view to copy… I wish I could share it!!
