Life experience. In my experience, men are generally speaking more confidently incorrect. On the internet I see this trait most often with US Americans, regardless of skin colour. In real life, I see it often with consumers of tabloids or russian news.

I know they love horses and have beautiful breeds.
They speak a Turkic language. I would guess they’re culture and cuisine is maybe a bit similar to Uzbek. Lagman and fried dough with meat inside. I would guess lamb or mutton is big.
Maybe you can even understand: Bir, jeki, üsch, tört, bess, alty, zhety, segges, togges, on
I’m German btw, I don’t know why your colleagues don’t know Turkmenistan.

6·4 months agoMmh, maybe the solution than is to use the tool for what it’s good, within it’s limitations.
And not promise that it’s omnipotent in every application and advertise/ implement it as such.
Mmmmmmmmmmh.
As long as LLMs are built into everything, it’s legitimate to criticise the little stupidity of the model.
On the mention of age of empires:
I have this very clear memory of a voice shout/sound effect within the score that goes like: “URRRRRREPP!”
My friends didn’t remember that or it wasn’t memorable to them. To you know what I mean?

1·5 months agoI had an Opel Corsa B which I called “The Black Corsair” or sometimes “the nutshell” (which is an expression for a dingy tiny lil boat).
Then I had a Toyota Corolla '97 which I called “Aubergine” cause of its colour and because we sometimes call cheap cars cucumbers.

2·7 months agoGerman here. I was taught the same thing, when walking on a country road. If there’s a pavement, I walk wherever.
Very easy actually. I have never had the problem, American media shows with ice cream being to hard. I’m pretty sure, we make our ice cream differently than the USA, very close to Italian gelato.
