    I can only handle being around people for so long before I start longing for some downtime and my own space. Can’t imagine what feeling lonely would be like.

      Even the introverts need their particular level of interaction, even if it’s way lower than those extrovert weirdoes.

      I can definitely tell when I’m below my (low) requirement, anyway, after a few days of remote work.

        Same, some public exposure once a week is needed for me. Social battery overcharged isn’t healthy either.

        It’s a dark joke that I would normally have deleted upon further reflection, but there’s been talk that deleting comments (even lousy ones) is bad for Lemmy, so I’m hesitating to get rid of it. Really not sure what the move is here.
