    FYI Biggest competition is Google right now, and they don’t run Nvidia cards.

    It’s like saying Microsoft bought more Intel chips than Apple, while Apple makes their own.

    …and 100 times as many GPUs as gamers!

    Being a PC gamer in 2024 kind of sucks when it takes 24gb of video RAM to run a video game and yet all the cards are being bought by institutional investors for AI.

      For the record, these aren’t consumer GPUs. They’re a completely different beast, designed specifically for running transformer models and costing up to $70,000 each.

        Also, what games are really maxing out the ram? My impression is that most modern GPUs are overkill in this pretty stagnant video game market.
