A jar of toenails that is also a fungal colony.
Before you ask, the accent varies based on diet.
A jar of toenails that is also a fungal colony.
First I’d heard of that in mountain biking, unless are you thinking of the r/Xbiking subreddit? They often repurpose MTBs, sometimes with 1x, but often with other drivetrains too.
A bike is my preferred method of transport. Just a simple 3x7 steel hardtail mountain bike. It keeps me in shape and can go just about anywhere.
When I have to drive, a manual Subaru tends to be my ride: Capable, reliable, and fun I guess. I also use an ebike if I have to haul a lot but don’t want to drive.
If it’s going to be in city only, the old Honda Fit is hard to beat functionally: Easy to park, very maneuverable, and lots of storage.
It happens, but it’s definitely not an every day occurence. The more you put yourself out there and the better you get at socializing, the more likely it is to happen though.
Could flee or fight depending on the circumstances.
Until you run out of food and the region has been overhunted/fished/foraged. This is why I need to expand my garden and do more indoor hydroponics. Last year we started growing sprouts and herbs and it was awesome but we’ve been lazy this year.
Sprouts are an excellent sandwich topping btw, way better than lettuce. We were doing alfalfa and mung beans (lol, mung).
Probably indefinitely, as long as there was food and a source of unfrozen water that can be purified. I’ve gone camping in temperatures down past -20f for days on end. The cold sucks, but will not kill you as long as you’re dressed for it, have a sleep system/shelter to keep you warm, and have enough food to fuel your body. Fuel/fire is downright luxurious in the cold, but not strictly necessary unless you have inadequate insulation from the cold and your body can’t keep up with the heat loss.
I heard they just did it for the halibut too.
This is a basic security measure, it is mind-blowing that they are taking this stance.
I’ve seen them get pissy and at least correct people over either, but YMMV I guess
What if they’re marines? Have you ever tried calling a marine a soldier to their face? I don’t recommend it.
Go in another room and close the door.
Keep the volume on your headphones down too, if they’re loud you’re more liable to get louder.
Plus, it’s important to protect your hearing.
If the walls are thin you can look into hanging up sound dampening (can just be foam mattress pads hung up, doesn’t have to be fancy)
“Vegetussy, what’s the scanner say about his booty level?”
That’s the popular opinion IMO: Most people do not buy these kinds of phones.
What is a reasonable time frame exactly?
Work, so I don’t have to ride in the cold.
Depends on what I’m sick with.
If I’m just sick with a cold, usually soup, hot tea with honey, chilli, etc, and maybe an OTC painkiller like tylenol if I have a fever or a headache. Hot showers can be nice too.
If I’m really sick, fuck yeah, give me whatever meds or treatment necessary. I’m not much for any of that “woo” bullshit (like chiropractors, crystals, homeopathy, or other quackery) but some of them are kinda legit (like chicken noodle soup or spicy stuff helping with a could, some herbal poultices actually treating wounds or rashes, etc. )
Oh, you mean like 1x10 or 1x12? Yeah, that’s definitely a thing. I thought you meant literally one gear on a MTB.
