The site uses a linear gradient background (background-image: linear-gradient(to right, ...)) which is clipped to the text (background-clip: text) while the text is made transparent (color: transparent). Seems like your browser doesn’t support the text-clipping CSS property, so it ends up rendering the entire element as a box without visible text, filled with that linear-gradient.
