I mean that’s cool and all but if a pod of dolphins showed up while I was swimming and started bumping me around or whatever I’d be freaked the fuck out.
I know they are smart and often helpful but they are also rapey assholes, and it would not even remotely surprise me if they hinder as often as help, if not more, and we just never hear about it because those people are dead now. They could easily drown me and I couldn’t do shit about it.

Sorry to be a mood kill but it really looks like they just happened to be passing through.
They might have been passing through, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t help. Dolphins have been observed to help people out before. They’re pretty intelligent.
I’m sure they are, but I didn’t see it happen specifically in the video of the article.
