I seriously. I’m for realiously. I got like 8 different furry subs in my block list and filtered out terms like ‘yiff’ etc. You’d think the algorithm would have picked up that I’m not interested in that shit but I still can’t scroll a half hour without a wolf boner adorning my screen.

I know I can simply block all NSFW content but that’d just be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I get the anime, but not the furry. Maybe I need to review my instance blocks.

Note that OP’s home instance is lemmy.world. Your home instance is lemmy.zip.

Content on a community on a remote instance only shows up when browsing All on a home instance if at least one user on that home instance has subscribed to that community. So it could just be that there are more dedicated furry pornography aficionados on lemmy.world, users who are doing a determined job of seeking out and subscribing to furry pornography communities.

The user you’re responding to, @SpikesOtherDog@ani.social, is complaining about too much sexy anime clogging his feed up. He has ani.social as his home instance, which is an instance dedicated to anime. So he’s going to see all of the anime posted to ani.social when browsing All, since it’s local content, stuff in communities on ani.social, not remote.
